Esgynnodd Iesu mawr

  Esgynnodd Iesu mawr
    I uchder nef y nef,
  Ac ar ddeheulaw Duw
    Ei Dad, eisteddodd Ef;
Mae'n fwy, mae'n uwch
      na neb erioed
Mae'n llanw'r nefoedd
      oll ā'i glod.

  Mae'r Iesu'n eiriol fry
    Ar ddeua law ei Dad,
  Mae'n dadlau drosom ni
    Ar dail ei werthfawr Waed;
Rhown iddo glod, canmolwn Ef
Ar lafar gān mewn uchel lef.

  Great Jesus ascended
    To the height of the heaven of heaven,
  And at the right hand of God
    His Father, he sat;
He is greater, he is higher
      than anyone ever
He is filling all the
      heavens with his praise.

  Jesus is interceding above
    At the right hand of his Father,
  He is pleading for us
    On the basis of his precious Blood;
Let us give him praise, extol him
With a vocal song in a loud cry.
